Review finding 2026-08-27 (B1). No .well-known/matrix/client handling anywhere in core/transport/api/engine; connect(baseUrl) requires a resolved URL.

Acceptance (§10.2.4): discovery performed at login from the server name, m.homeserver honoured, identity-server entry ignored (§1.4), typed error on malformed/absent well-known per spec; mock-homeserver test; the endpoint's triage line in spec-coverage/triage.txt.
