D72 made SAS auto-start survive only against SAS-only peers; between two katrix sessions both advertise QR, both enter ChooseMethod, and DemoModelEndToEndTest's verification phase waits in sasReady() forever (runBlocking without timeout, line ~212). ca41154 updated only the demo UI dialog. Phase 2 never ran green since (#344+ builds all failed earlier in phase 1), so it went unseen. Fix: the requester calls methodChoices() then startSas() before sasReady() — the explicit start D72 specifies. Found while verifying #124 locally.
